My first Brisbane Wedding.
Arriving bright and early Friday morning to beautiful Brisbane weather, warm sunny 27 degrees was perfect for a stroll around Southbank in shorts, t-shirt and thongs, a nice change from Melbourne’s winter.
Matthew and Donna, both from country town’s in Central Victoria now call Brisbane home, so decided a Brisbane wedding was best for them.
Matthew picked me up Friday afternoon from the motel in Southbank to go for a drive around the city and to scout out some possible photo location, such is the testament to the lengths he went to make sure that the went day perfectly to plan, even the day before the wedding he still managed to find time to go for a drive with me.
The wedding day arrived and again Brisbane had turned on the weather, Perfect sunny skies for the wedding day.
I remember in our first meeting Donna mentioned, “all I want is a shot of the city. I love the city and want 1 photo with the whole city” well we got that indeed and with Matthew’s timing and planning to perfection, we even managed to stop on the way to the reception for a gorgeous shot at Brisbane’s Story Bridge all it up at dusk.
The Ceremony was held at St Andrews Anglican Church While the reception and celebration took place at the summit on Mt Coot-tha overlooking stunning view’s of Brisbane by night.
We would like to thank both Matthew & Donna for having us in Brisbane with them and inviting us to share their special day.
