Aleshia and Michael were married on October 13th, with a ceremony at St Ignatius followed by reception at Luminare, South Melbourne.
Aleshia and Michael’s Luminare Wedding
This Melbourne wedding venue is nothing short of stunning. With city view’s to die for, it’s always a treat when it comes to wedding photography. Throw in an amazing sunset on the terrace, and it was more than a wedding photographer could even hope for. Luminare is an extraordinary venue, and it provided an unbeatable backdrop for Aleshia and Michael’s wedding day. Their reception was beautifully styled, as well, so everywhere I turned a memorable image what there to be taken.
Aleshia and Michael couldn’t stop smiling throughout the entire day. All those smiles were genuine! It’s so important for me as a wedding photographer to find a way to capture those natural moments of joy, after all. They had an epic first kiss and even laughed a bit when Michael dropped the rings at the altar!
I was also touched when I saw how Michael surprised Aleshia with a seat for her late little brother. Even though he had passed on, Michael made sure to have a seat with his name in his place setting between him and his bride. Those are the moments I live for: seeing families who have been struck by tragedy overcoming the dark times to find joy in moving forward while still remembering their loss. Moments like that only make the joy stronger.
Thank you, Michael & Aleshia, for asking me to be part of your wedding. I know you two will continue to make each other smile and to share your joy with everyone around you. Thanks also to Eddie from Rinaldo Entertainment for keeping the guests dancing all night long and always being so amazing to work with
